Hydrogen Inner Cooled Stator Bar

Hydrogen cooled 2Across the globe, different generator manufacturers utilise various stator bar designs, including...

  • Conventional or indirect cooled stator bars. Air or hydrogen is used as a cooling media
  • Hydrogen inner cooled stator bars
  • Water cooled stator bars.

BRUSH has always manufactured conventional and water cooled stator bars for Turbo and Hydrogenerators. Now Hydrogen Inner Cooled Stator Bars complete the production portfolio and offer an improved scope of supply for the generator Aftermarket.

Hydrogen inner cooled stator bars are used in the range of 150 MVA to 1100 MVA on voltage levels between 18 kV and 24 kV.

The lower power range is covered by the single tube stack design and the upper range by the double tube stack design.

The replacement of older hydrogen inner cooled stator bars during rewinds increases the reliability and availability and also opens up the opportunity to increase generator rating and efficiency if modern materials are used and/or cooling is improved. BRUSH engineers can offer advice for the optimum solution for your generators.

Hydrogen Inner Cooled Stator Bars, engineered and manufactured by BRUSH, are suitable replacements for Westinghouse, Siemens, Mitsubishi and ACEC manufactured generators. This service further underpins BRUSH’s capabilities to be the leading edge in the service and repair of third party generators worldwide. BRUSH is your partner for all generator problems and issues.Hydrogen cooled CIMG1753
