 Then: BRUSH constructed its first Transformer in 1881, at a time when the company was pioneering the electrification of towns in the USA and the UK. BRUSH Transformers has achieved many world ‘firsts’ over the years, such as the first all-British flameproof dry type mining transformer built in 1958, which has provided new safety and economical operating conditions into mining.

 

Now: BRUSH Transformers has developed close relationships and key partnerships with many electricity companies and the international petrochemical sector. We have contributed to rapid mining growth worldwide due to our specialism in surface and underground mining applications.

We have brought light, water and mechanical power to people in over 100 countries. Our equipment can be found in all environments; industrial and domestic, onshore and offshore and for conventional or specialized use.
