BRUSH Achieves UTC Supplier Gold

Brush Electrical Machines Ltd. recently received ‘Supplier Gold’ certification from the UTC Supply Management Council. On a worldwide basis BRUSH is only the 9th Pratt & Whitney Power Systems supplier that has ever reached this distinguished level of performance.

Suppliers that achieve UTC Supplier Gold status have to perform at an exceptionally high level for quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction through utilization of robust lean operating systems over a full twelve month period.  In the case of BRUSH this was awarded by:

  • 100% delivery performance to customer requirements
  • Exceptional quality performance with zero escapes
  • A Lean Assessment score of 390 surpassing the Gold threshold of 350
  • MFA customer satisfaction score of 6.23 out of a possible 7.0
