BRUSH gains IMechE accreditation

On 9th November 2012 Isobel Pollock, President of the Institution of Mechanical Engineering, presented BRUSH with its Engineering Technical Development Scheme accreditation award.

To be awarded with this highly prestigious accreditation is testimony to the hard work and effort from past and present apprentices, operational management and support departments who have each played a major part in this achievement.

Isobel said "I was delighted to visit BRUSH at Loughborough and to present their EngTech approval certificate. It was a great pleasure to witness the passion and enthusiasm of all involved in engineering training at BRUSH. This programme is a testament to what can be achieved when enthusiastic staff from industry and education work together.

By recognising the quality of the mechanical courses through the approved Institution scheme, students and apprenticeships can demonstrate their quality and commitment to the profession at the start of their careers and become registered engineering technicians upon successful completion of the approved scheme"
