BRUSH Power up in Cologne

Once again the Energy industry gathered for Power-Gen Europe which took place in Cologne, Germany from 12-14th June 2012.

BRUSH exhibited alongside competitors and customers and welcomed more visitors onto its stand than at any previous year. The interest and opportunities were excellent as BRUSH showed its capabilities across Generator manufacture, Power Management and Excitation systems, Transformers and its world-wide aftermarket support. Harrington Generators (a BRUSH subsidiary) also attended and were also pleased with a flood of enquires.

BRUSH also hosted an after show party on board the Pure Liner and took around 100 guests for a pleasant trip down the Rhine, which was enjoyed by all and where BRUSH had the opportunity to listen and note what customers had to say away from the hustle and bustle of the show.  This will be fed into future projects to further enhance the existing market leading service and quality standards. At the show BRUSH’s Dr Klaus Weigelt presented a paper (What can the 50 Hz market learn from the 60 Hz market to avoid generator and exciter failures and damage) which was met with a great response and he was shortlisted for the best paper award.

This event enables BRUSH to gain an insight to what customers are thinking and doing across all the major energy industries.
