BRUSH deliver two generators to New Caledonia

Koniambo wBRUSH delivered two generators each rated at 137MW, to be used with steam turbines manufactured by Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB, Sweden. The project is for the construction of a nickel smelter unit located in the New Caledonia´s Northern Province, near Kone. Koniambo is one of the world´s largest and highest-grade undeveloped nickel and laterite deposits. The facility will have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of ferrous nickel alloy.
